Loker i have never shot a deer in the butt so dont judge me lol

Well folks: This story is from 1970. I will not use my hunting parners name because he is bigger than I am, and has threatened to do me bodily harm if I ever told. You can be assured that I did not tell this previously. hahahahaha
While hunting with my friend and neighbor, during the spring turkey season in Missouri, we had heard a very nice tom gobble and start toward us. We selected a couple of large trees to sit beside while the turkey strutted and gobbled his way to us. With in a period of three or four minutes, my hunting partner jumps up from the tree he was sitting against. He is screaming and starting to undress. I am at a total loss as to what is taking place, so I rush to his side to see if i can render assistance. By this time he has unbuckled his belt and is tearing at the fastners on his pants. Just as he unsnaps them and jerks them down, I spot this 12 to 14 inch garter snake falling to the ground. Needless to say, Oscar stomps the poor thing to death.
What had happened was that being a large man, when he sat down, his pants had gapped in the rear and the little snake had a place to go into. When Oscar felt the movement, he jumps up thereby tightening the pants and the poor little snke was caught abd began to twist and get away.
Once I had stopped laughing and could stand without the support of a tree, he made me promise to not tell this on him. Since this took place in 1970, I am sure the statute of Limitations has surely expired.
Moral of this story: If you show butt crack when you sit down, Always look for small friends on the ground. By the way, we did not get the turkey.

While I was in Illinois I had the pleasure of having Tex, Jamie and Richard from Team Harvest as cameraman. While I don't have one particular funny story I had 11 or 12 days of side splitting fun in a tree. If you know either Tex or Richard and get a chance ask them if it was a hoot. If you know Richard ask him what deer sticks smell like and if they burn.

i have two that come to mind and unfortunatly for my brother inlaw they both are on him . when he and my sister got married he had never shot a gun so i got him into hunting. his first year shotgun hunting deer i kept him pretty close to help him out. i told him "now if the deer has white spots on it its young so just let it pass . well about an hour into the hunt a nice doe walks within 50 feet of him. im sittin about 100 feet watching thinking oh man this will be great! he never picked up his gun! just watcherd her for 10 minutes or so till she walked off lol! i was freaking out hahah i went over and said man that could have been yer first deer why didnt you shoot! he said well it turned its butt to me and i seen it had white on it you said if its got white on it let it pass? nothing i could do but laugh and feel bad for not making myself clear lol! later the same season we were both hunting with a life long friend of mine dennis and we had both killed bucks my brother inlaw said he was seeing alot of deer but they run off before he could get a shot. hmmm i said that dont seem right are they smelling you or what? he says with a serious face ..i have no idea by the time i get off my stump im sitting on and get laid down on my stomach to shoot they run off ..i lost it! i think that has to be the hardest ive ever laughed at deer camp!

^ Now that is some good stuff. Perhaps some small game hunting should have taken place before deer season.
